What began life as the edge of the old Bideford road, then for many years the bank over which vegetative rubbish was tossed, Judith has recently extended the garden to include this area. It differs from the rest of the garden with it's wild and untamed look. The hot colours of orange Californian poppies, red and pink Oriental poppies, purple foxgloves, red hot pokers, and yellow daisies mingle happily and haphazardly creating a vibrant and ever-changing scene. Judith did literally extend the garden, by the way - building the steps and digging out the steep paths herself!
